The Sporting Globe, Fremantle

Located on a prominent corner along Fremantle’s historic South Terrace, The Sporting Globe reimagines a key hospitality site within a rich heritage setting. The design balances the commercial needs of a national hospitality brand with the architectural expectations of a sensitive urban context. Evolving through multiple design review processes, the scheme responds to feedback around massing, activation, and materiality-retaining key heritage cues while introducing a contemporary rooftop venue, refined streetscape presence, and layered façade treatment.

The outcome plans to become a socially vibrant, street oriented destination that contributes to the continued revitalisation of Fremantle’s town centre.
