Masterplanning & Ground Plane Design

In collaboration with Space Collective Architects and Celsius Property Group, we are responsible for the masterplanning and ground‑plane design of Alma Square- a new mixed use precinct designed to revitalise the heart of North Perth at 387 Fitzgerald Street.

Our interventions focus on creating a vibrant public realm, with over 1,500 m² of retail space and more than 60m of north‑facing alfresco dining along Alma Road, anchoring the retail edge and activating the street day and night

Following development approval in November 2023 and after a complex process resolving planning issues, final approval was granted in May 2025. Over 80% of the apartments have already sold off-the-plan with construction currently in progress, paving the way for North Perth’s largest mixed-use development

Our design approach sought to complement North Perth’s rich architectural character, using a sculptural material palette inspired by local heritage- terracotta brickwork, asymmetrical façades softened by cascading greenery and deep-soil landscaping along Fitzgerald Street to support street trees and enhance pedestrian amenity.
